摘要

In recent years, various types of medical applications of microwave have widely been investigated and reported. In this paper, a catheter, which ablates extravascular nerve by the thermal effect of microwave, is introduced. In addition, heating characteristics of the catheter are evaluated by numerical calculations. As a result, temperature distributions around the catheter were revealed and the usefulness of a denervation catheter using microwave was suggested.
