The Evaluation of the Possibilities of new Organizational Structures of Engineer Troops in the Field of Engineer Mobility Support

The article deals with the capabilities of engineer units in providing engineer mobility support to manoeuvre units in combat operations. The focus of the research is based on national strategic documents and responds to changes in the organizational structures of units valid from the 1^{st of January 2020. The aim of the article is to assess the new structures compared to the original ones in the number and possibilities of engineering units and means usable to support movement. Based on the findings, the authors present possible solutions to remedy the current situation. In addition to the national conceptual documents, the elaboration of the article was based on the conclusions of previous research published at conferences and in journals.}
