Washing Efficiency- Evaluate the % solids removed from a single stage or system. Cannot be greater than 100%. Displacement Ratio - Evaluate % solids removed relative to the washing liquor solids. Cannot be greater than 1 (you can't wash better than your shower water). Dilution Factor- Indicator of the amount of wash water used Equivalent Displacement Ratio and Norden Number- Compares washing effectiveness between different types of washing equipment.
