Alternation between the new high-speed railway train working diagram and the current one is becoming more frequent, in order to ensure the smooth alternation, train-set scheduling in alternating periods must be planned to determine the source of train-set running the new train plan and the destination of train-set running the current train plan. Scheduling method is studied, the object of passenger carriage scheduling in alternating periods is determined, that is to reduce the connection cost between the current sub-routing and the new one, and, according to the quantity of the current sub-routings and the new ones, models of train-set scheduling in alternating periods are established, more, Hungarian algorithm is used to solve the problem. Finally, feasibility and practicality of the model and algorithm are demonstrated by operational data of the Wuhan-Guangzhou high-speed railway.
