Distill-Max™ is a fully-proven, commercialised technology which offers a cost effective solution for a wide range of applications where three or more products are to be separated from a feed stream. It offers capital- and energy-saving potential and can be applied to grassroots and revamp projects. As a DWC is essentially four columns in one shell, the process design of a DWC is more complex than for a conventional column. The rigorous design procedure and in-house proprietary thermodynamic data developed by KBR evaluates the full operating envelope of the column, which enables KBR to guarantee the process performance. KBR will provide the essential scoping study to ensure that DWC technology is appropriate for any given application and to realise the full potential of a DWC project. KBR can take the client from a conceptual idea to full EPC implementation. KBR can offer a "one stop shop" approach to realise full benefits offered by dividing wall column technology for efficient hydrocarbon separation.
