A surface wave dataset consisting of active-source sledgehammer, active-source vibroseis, passive-source linear array and passive-source 60, 200 and 400 m diameter circular array measurements was provided to the academic and professional community for reduction and analysis using various techniques in order to quantify uncertainty. The multiple surface wave datasets were reduced by the author and resulting dispersion curves combined for modeling. A comparison of the surface wave dispersion data acquired using the multiple techniques is provided along with a discussion of the differences. Analysis of the surface wave dispersion data was limited to inverse modeling using a commercial software package that utilizes the plane wave, fundamental mode and/or effective mode Rayleigh wave assumption. Data analysis was complicated by a dominant higher mode Rayleigh wave that affected the active and passive surface wave data in different manners. Therefore, three representative dispersion curves were developed to characterize subsurface velocity structure and assess the differences between the various surface wave techniques.
