In this work, experiments are combined with CFD aiming to analyze the aerodynamics of realistic isolated helicopter fuselages. For this purpose two models based on early shapes of the ANSAT helicopter were used. Both models were tested at the low speed wind tunnel of KNRTU-KAI for a range of Reynolds numbers.
