Relay-Enabled Hybrid Wireless and Powerline Communication Access Network for Smart Power Grid

摘要

In this chapter, a Relay-Enabled Hybrid Wireless-PLC (R-W/PLC) mechanism for smart power distribution and consumption was presented. Two different approaches for hybrid wireless-PLC access network implementation were presented and compared. Experimental result suggested that this mechanism with routing approach had better performance than the one with flooding approach.
