According to a project, this paper studied the energy conservation assessment of high-rise buildings based on BIM. A method was proposed to analyze the building energy conservation based on BIM. In this method, it was important to establish building information modeling because that needed to include the information of buildings such as geometry information, space information, function information, materials information, equipment information, etc. Then, we converted the data of building information modeling and input the converted data to the analysis software for analyzing the state of building energy. Finally, we used the analysis results to optimized the building design and reduce building energy consumption.
