For the assembly building, the hoisting consequence has an important influence on the cost. In this paper, we first analyze the process constraints involved in the assembly process of the prefabricated components, and achieve the objective function with the minimum cost of component storage under given cycle conditions. Then we use the genetic algorithm to get the optimal solution or the suboptimal solution for the assembly process of prefabricated components. To control the demand of the prefabricated component, we arrange the assembly order of the components rationally, which can also achieve the lowest construction cost consumption. Finally, we give the sample instance to illustrate how to solve the component's hoisting sequence by genetic algorithm, and the results show the effectiveness of the method.
