摘要

Construction projects are made up with numerous complex tasks and have many adverse characters, such as huge investment, long construction period, involving numerous high-risk personnel and organization, opening operation, intensive high risk operations. As a result, the organization and coordination of construction project management is difficult and complicated. If the managers could not nip in the bud, they may not get the expected profit or even suffer great losses. Therefore, it is particularly important for us to make a high-level risk management in lifecycle of construction project. BIM (Building Information Modeling) technology is a virtual model which integrated with the 3D digital technology and various related engineering information. Application of BIM is conducive to visual management, information sharing and decision support in the project management of entire life cycle from design, construction and operation. For the sake of taking advantage of the BIM technology in each stage of the risk management, and improving the quality and efficiency, reducing the cost of the risk management, this paper aims to establish a risk management framework based on the 3D model of A. D. Hall.
