摘要

Local viscosity measured by time-resolved fluorescence anisotropy can provide considerable insight to the mammalian cell anhydrous preservation problem. Application of the techniques described in this work can facilitate a determination of the efficacy and practicality of loading trehalose (or any agent) by any loading technique. Furthermore, because reduced molecular mobility is essential for storage success, continued development of this technique can provide valuable information related to expected storage potential.
