Miniaturization of a folded dipole by applying slow-wave effect

摘要

A folded dipole array is miniaturized by using slow-wave mechanism. When introduced with slots in the ground plane, the operating frequency of the antenna is decrease from 2.25 GHz to 1.80 GHz and a miniaturization of 20% is achieved.
