摘要

Main goal of this paper is to investigate the fault-tolerant operation of an Active Neutral Point Clamped (ANPC) rectifier. Fault detection and faulty switch identification methods are indicated in case of open-circuit and short-circuit failures. From this knowledge, a reconfiguration scheme can be provided allowing for the system to continue operating without need of a non-programmed stop. Different cases are illustrated and theoretical studies are confirmed by experimental results.
