摘要

In underwater imaging the main problem is scattering, absorption, non uniform illumination. As a result underwater image requires huge amount of processing in order to extract features from it, which makes it difficult for computer vision application. Many underwater vision applications like tracking, localization requires use of marker, in broad sense there exist two groups of markers one is light source and other is pattern drawn on a board. In this paper we have analyzed the image generation process from both marker and compared their performance.
