The Applications of Pumping Toilet System for Nursing Care in Elderly Facilities and Housings

We have revealed the merits of Pumping Toilet System for Nursing Care: 1) Its position can be moved after installation. 2) Structural damage on the building is much smaller than conventional water closets. 3) Its installation process is the easier because of 20A of zero-gradient drainage pipe within 8m and over 40A of gravity drainage system. 4) Connection with an existing drainage system is possible in a sanitary manner. In this study, we will verify the merits and the validity through the investigation of the Pumping Toilet Systems installed in newly built and existing facilities for elderly-people and single dwelling houses in Japan.
