The results in pilot-scale as well as in mill-scale demonstrated the following effects: 1. If the Aq-vane allows replacement of 10% of the paper basis weight with fillers 2. The strength additive allows 6% of fibres to be replaced with fillers 3. Finally, the effect of calendering of the stratified sheets gives the possibility to replace 4% of fibres with fillers 1. The effect are in principle "multiplicative", giving a total maximum potential of: Fibers needed compared to reference?}=90%×94%×96% = 0.81% .
