'VIRTUAL SURGEON' TRAINING SUITE FOR LAPAROSCOPY, ENDOVASCULAR AND OPEN SURGERY SIMULATION

摘要

The paper describes the basic features of the "Virtual Surgeon" simulation training suite aimed to hone students surgery skills in laparotomy, laparoscopy and endovascular surgery. An emphasis is put on human body 3D model implementation and visualization; simulation of various laparo-scopic and endovascular instruments and their actions; algorithms of physical interaction simulation; realistic force feedback provision and developed scenarios of operative intervention. This product is developed in cooperation with Samara State Medical University, Russia.
