The concentrations of VOCs in weekly canisters were similar to those observed in background ambient concentrations in the surrounding area. Benzene concentration ranges were 0.1-0.4 ppbv in the area, which were consistent with those measured in Fort Collins, CO during a previous study. Methane concentrations from the mobile platform were also similar to background concentrations in the area ranging from 1.8-2.2 ppmv. We expect the concentrations of methane and VOCs to change during the different stages of oil and gas extraction and as part of the local meteorology in the surrounding area.
