The influence of the introduction of ultradisperse diamond additives and a mixture of oxides on the properties of sintered carbon steel is investigated. It is shown that the ultradisperse additives of aluminum and zirconium oxides mixture and iron, nickel, zinc oxides mixtures in an amount of 0.2-0.5% lead to the modification of the structure and increase of the wear resistance of powder steel wear resistance by more than three times. The introduction of ultradisperse ceramic additives to powder steel has a modifying effect and changes its wear mechanism.
