Constellation Energy Nuclear Group developed a job familiarization guide (JFG) and initial training courses for Instructional Technologists. Instructional Technologists provide a barrier for ensuring the systematic approach to training (SAT) is followed at nuclear stations. Instructional Technologist review and approve training materials and exams and conduct instructor competencies evaluations. Instructional Technologists are typically either home grown through instructor positions or hired in from outside the nuclear power industry with an education background. There is a need to efficiently develop Instructional Technologists to fulfill their role.
