Suppression of Up-conversion Luminescence in Er{sup}(3+)-Codoped Oxyfluoride Silicate Glass

摘要

In Yb{sup}(3+), Er{sup}(3+)-codoped oxyfluoride silicate glass having composition with molar concentrations of 61 SiO{sub}2-12Na{sub}2O-3Al{sub}2O{sub}3-12LaF{sub}3-12PbF{sub}2, the upconversion luminescence was greatly reduced by introducing Ce{sup}(3+) ions without significantly reducing the lifetimes of lasing level.
