This paper proposes a new bandpass acquisition scheme for wideband signal digitization. The proposed scheme consists of several data acquisition channels, operating in parallel. In each channel, the signal to be acquired is sampled by a wavelet pulse train, which is delayed by a different fraction of the sampling period, and then acquired by an Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC). The multi-channel architecture allows enlarging the signal bandwidth beyond half of the pulse repetition rate. A frequency-domain model of this acquisition scheme is derived, allowing to reconstruct the spectrum of the input signal from those of the ADC outputs. Finally, a preliminary sensitivity analysis of the proposed architecture is reported, considering the effects of the jitter of the pulse train and the ADC resolution.
