摘要

At present, the analytical method is used to study the external dynamics of ship collision. For the added mass coefficient, only the empirical value is selected and fixed as a constant. This paper used a mathematical model to simulate the scenario of ship collisions in static and dynamic situations, then programmed to calculate collision examples. Ship velocity before and after the collision and energy released as the simulation results are analyzed. The results show the dynamic mass added coefficient of ship at study collision external dynamics is not negligible.
