摘要

Identification of renewable sources of energy as alternative sources for power generation has augmented the number of renewable energy based distributed generation plants being incorporated into the conventional power distribution system. The single phase voltage source inverter interfacing the distributed generation plant with the grid has to address various issues related to the quality of current injected into the grid, output power factor and power exchange between the plant and the grid. In this paper a digital predictive current controller based on model predictive control theory is proposed for control of the single phase power inverter. The effect of delay is also considered during design of the digital controller for its real-time implementation on digital control platform. The performance of the controller is evaluated under varied operating conditions. The efficacy of the proposed control strategy is validated by the simulation results.
