Agent-based simulation technology is a trend for the future simulation application. This method is more simple and efficient than traditional simulation methods. Agent-based simulation technology with distinct modeling process can greatly reduce the difficulty of modeling and simulation computing, and is more applicable to solve the problems of reliability modeling and simulation for large complex system. Based on former research, Agent-based reliability simulation method and mechanism are analyzed, and a system reliability state-checking method based on signal network flow algorithm is proposed. This method can greatly reduce the difficulty of state-checking computing of system reliability simulation model, improve the flexibility of simulation algorithm, and support state analysis of reliability model in any scale and any form. This method provides a theory support to mission-oriented complex system reliability analysis and simulation.
