The problem of faithful simulation of sources and channels has been investigated in quite many papers, and the common assumption in all of them was that the probability law of the desired process is known. In a recent paper [1], this assumption was relaxed, and the following problem of universal simulation was considered: The source P to be simulated is unknown, except for being in a certain class ρ and a training sequence X = (X{sub}1,...,X{sub}m) ~ P is given.
