Generation of scalar and vector solitons in a bidirectional mode-locked fiber laser

摘要

We report on a bidirectional fiber laser mode-locked by the nonlinear polarization rotation technique. Experimentally, the scalar and vector solitons are observed in the opposite directions of a fiber laser for the first time.
