摘要

A high sensitivity strain sensor based on a selective-filling photonic crystal fiber (SF-PCF) Sagnac interferometer was demonstrated. The SF-PCF was achieved by infiltrating a high index liquid into two symmetrical air holes of the innermost layer. Numerical results revealed an ultrahigh even theoretically infinite strain sensitivity. A high strain sensitivity with 25 pm/με was experimentally achieved.
