摘要

Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram among others have changed the way to communicate with everyone from everywhere at anytime. Sharing opinions, feelings or personal experiences are the new paradigm to be aware about what is going on around you. The first news about the last terroristic attacks of November 2015 in Paris was a tweet sent from the stadium reporting about an explosion. After that, millions of tweets have been published, including spontaneous initiatives like the hashtag #portesouvertes (open doors, in English) to welcome residents in need to protected areas. In this paper, we propose an animated map to monitor large tweet collections and focus on meaningful data. Navigating the map, the emergency operators are aware about which are the most relevant topics shared by citizens, showing more details on demand if needed.
