This paper studies nonlinear dynamics of multiple-input parallel dc-dc converters. Dynamic winner-take-all switching is used for parallel connection and can realize multi-phase synchronization that is basic for current sharing with ripple reduction. As parameters vary, the synchronous state bifurcates to a variety of phenomena including hyperchaos and complex superstable behavior. Applying a simple piecewise constant modeling we give precise results of typical bifurcation phenomena.
