EVALUATION OF LUBRICANT CHEMISTRIES FOR POWDER METAL APPLICATION

摘要

Lubricant additives used in powder metal applications need to perform several functions. In this paper, we will examine the performance of several different organic chemistries on a press and sinter application with respect to green and sintered densities & strengths, ejection force and part appearance. The different chemistries display a range of performance attributes in parts. This will be discussed in context of new materials for this application.
