In the new economic situation, Liaoning coastal economic belt is facing the opportunity that we can revitalize old industrial bases, and establish northeast Asian economic circle and northeast Asia shipping center, while the marine economy quickly develops. But meanwhile it also causes the drying up of resources and environmental pollution so that it restricts the sustainable development of Marine economy. This article analyses the two respective problems and mutual check relationship which exist between marine economy and marine environment from the present situation of liaoning coastal economic belt According to the analysis, effective measures to coordinate the development of the marine environment and economy of the Liaoning coastal economic belt are proposed.
