摘要

This paper briefly introduces the ZigBee and its characteristics, analyzes the ZigBee Wireless Application Protocol. The system adopts the chip CC2430 and chip CC2431 with positioning engine. On that basis, the system realize the precise positioning for underground mine personnel. It is available to provide abundant data and graphical information. It is also able to monitor the real-time underground mine personnel and work out the number of them and their distribution. It is characterized as low cost, easiness to set up and use.
