By the analysis of four factors' influence on the ultimate bearing capacity, the ductility coefficient and the energy consuming ability of the T-shape concrete-filled rectangular composite steel tubular columns and comparison to the significance degree of influence through the orthogonal test,which are the axial compression ratio, the strength of the concrete, the thickness of the steel tube and the type of the cross-section, the result shows that: the thickness of the steel tube effects the ultimate load of the T-shaped concrete-filled rectangular composite steel tubular columns most; the type of the crosssection effects the ductility coefficient and the equivalent viscous damping coefficient most; the application of the developed T-shaped concrete filled rectangular composite steel tubular columns with restraining drag bar is beneficial to improve member's ultimate bearing capacity and seismic performance (ductility and dissipation capacity).
