In order to improve the accuracy and reliability of grain cleaning loss measuring, a special senor based on symmetry piezoelectric crystal was designed, The method of signal compensation has been used to weaken the intensity of random interference signal and enhance the intensity of grain loss signal. This paper used the ANSYS software to do the finite element analysis for the elastic element to obtain its vibration type. Also, the Modalview software was used to do modal analysis for the elastic element to obtain its resonant frequency. These two tests could be used to provide some theory basis for fixed mode and optimization of the piezoelectric crystal. Test results showed that the symmetric senor could measure the grain cleaning loss accurately.
