In this work, ultra-long silver nanowires (AgNWs) were successfully synthesized by a novel polyol method that reducing the silver nitride by ethylene glycol (EG), and the polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) was used as a cap agent. After that, a serials of AgNWs were produced by different molar ratios of PVP and AgNO3. The results indicated that the pure AgNWs with different diameter and length could be synthesized under different molar radio. Finally, the silver nanowire >60 ??m and even 110 ??m in length could be produced by optimizing the molar ratio. After that, the nanowire was spread on a glass and paper substrate by spin coating to obtain transparent electrodes.
