In this paper, we discuss the history of biorobot, and kinds of insects-based biorobot are presented. Subsequently, we analyze the advantages and challenge of honeybee biorobot. To accomplish the control of free honeybee, we propose an ultra small and light chip. A novel chip architecture is also proposed to decrease the area of the chip. Based on TSMC 180nm CMOS process, we give the simulation results of the system, and the results indicate that the chip will do an excellent work to control the flight motion of free honeybee.
