SOLAR ENERGY AND THERMAL ENERGY STORGE IN THE WORLD, TURKEY AND SLOVENIA

This paper attempts to give an overview of the recent thermal energy storage technologies used in solar applications around the world with the emphasis on two mediterranean countries: Turkey and Slovenia that are cooperating on three years joint project with the title: Thermal Energy Storage for Efficient Utilization of Solar energy.
