Residential business building in central zone in Novi Sad, is situated at the comer location, wit the view at the small park, represent the example of the ecological, energetically and integral approach to planning, with the aim to achieve the level of zero energy building. At the corner of two streets in the central zone of Novi Sad - on one side is big busy street with multilevel residential buildings, and at the other side is little quite street which spreads through line of little park with single family houses - author has designed this residential business building which integrate complex conditions of such different street matrix. With the wide approach of ecological and energy design with optimally high level of thermal isolation of all elements of outer shell, as and setting intensive roof garden above first floor at the lover part of the building, which additionaly further enhances these characteristics. Excellent thermal properties of glazed surfaces with argon in a triple layer thermal packages filled with noble gas and a large surfaces with fixed glazing allow minimizing passing the heat. The high level of energy efficiency has been building and using solar energy, geothermal energy, wind energy, which is used by heat pumps to heat the mixed system of floor and wall heating, and it is used in summer for cooling a large building. Startup and operation of heat pumps is provided with electricity obtained from solar photovoltaic panels located on the roof and porch building. The project anticipates that the photovoltaic system is connected to the electricity distribution that will take excess energy in summer and in winter it back in the house depending on your needs. Energy efficiency in the home is achieved above all the appropriate degree of thermal isolation of the building and use of renewable energy sources in the function of such systems used for heating and cooling the building and preparation of hot water, and the use of prescribed equipment and appliances for households categorized into energy classes labeled A + , energy saving lighting with long service life, home automation systems and adequate systems for ventilation and heat recovery. The building in Novi Sad is one of the first facilities in Serbia that will meet the highest standards of energy efficiency and is approaching the most advanced countries in the world and their efforts to minimize energy consumption in buildings and reducing CO2 emissions into the atmosphere.
