High speed silicon photonic transceivers

摘要

Advanced optical transceivers, including 100Gbaud OOK and 56Gbaud PAM-4 transmitters implemented on a silicon photonics platform are described in this paper. Analog radio-over-fiber transceivers for next-generation 5G wireless access will be described as well, covering carrier frequencies ranging from 3.5 GHz to 28 GHz.
