Zoom lenses with tunable lenses and linear lens movements

摘要

Based on collinear calculations, we present the combination of classical zoom concepts with tunable optics. The advantage is the realization of macroscopic zoom systems with a constant image plane and purely linearly moving sub-optics. An experimental setup demonstrates the functionality of this kind of zoom system.
