As everyone knows, the days of "if it rolls, it ships" are over for packaging producers. Packaging paper makers are increasingly being asked to produce lighter products meeting ever more stringent test properties and better printability, all at higher production rates and efficiency. The assets once used to produce communication grades are being repurposed to produce linerboard and medium grades with only minor modifications.
