All-optical 2#x00D7;4 decoder using external cavity selflocked Fabry-Perot laser diode

摘要

We proposed a novel idea of all-optical 2×4 decoder using external cavity self-injection locked Fabry-Perot laser diode. The realization is based on the combination of different logical units using the injection locking phenomenon in Fabryperot laser diode. Clear output spectrum diagrams and waveform diagrams for all four conditions of 2×4 decoder is presented at the data rate of 10 Gbps.
