Lasers and detectors are essential parts of IR sensing systems. However, many other enabling components such as diffractive optical elements, spatial light modulators, optical MEMS, filters, isolators are required. U.S. Air Force has several active programs for these technical areas. We continue looking for more innovative technologies for IR Sensing applications.
