By means of the features of octonions, the gravitational field generates one adjoint field, while the electromagnetic field originates its adjoint field. The paper discusses the impact of adjoint fields on the conservation laws in the gravitational and electromagnetic fields. When the adjoint fields can not be neglected, it will cause the predictions to departure slightly from the known conservation laws, including the mass continuity equation and the charge continuity equation etc. The study claims that the electromagnetic adjoint field has an effect on the mass continuity equation, while the gravitational adjoint field on the charge continuity equation.
