摘要

Stratified rock mass has been widely existing in geotechnical engineering. Although many constitutive models have been adopted to describe the characteristic of the rock mass, like Mohr-Coulomb model and Hoek-Brown model, there are still few studies have been done on the constitutive model that can describe the stress-strain relationship of stratified rock mass. In the present paper, numerical solutions for prediction the strength of stratified rock mass is built, which is based on the Ubiquitous-Joint model for describing characteristic of stratified rock mass. Then its result is compared with that from the analytical solution based on Mohr-Coulomb model for validation.
