The bearing capacity of foundation above tunnel depends on the soil physical mechanics and its seepage properties, the bearing capacity and the seepage properties of the lining of tunnel and the consolidation degree of the soil layer resulted in the pore pressure dissipation. Using finite difference software FLAC3D, the process of the shield tunneling and supporting and the bearing capacity of foundation are simulated. The pore pressure of the soil layer and the surface settlement in different loading are obtained. By comparing these mechanical characteristics, the capacity of the foundation above tunnel in the range of the fine silty sand layer is proposed.
