摘要

The current study has further confirmed our previous findings that biophysical parameters associated with WT and IIF increase in the attached (model artificial tissue) vs. suspended state indicating both increased water transport and ice formation in attached cells. At high cooling rates differences in attached vs. suspended viability can be predicted by this increased IIF. On the other hand, enhanced dehydration seen in attached cells at slow cooling does not lead to greater injury than suspension as one would predict.
