摘要

The preliminary results of this project suggest that ME materials are capable of mitigating as well as monitoring the aberrant cell growth associated with interfacial fibrosis. Current endeavors will improve our understanding of the mechanisms responsible for the cellular response to ME vibrations. Further, the development of an effective parylene coating protocol may also allow for the long-term use of these materials in vivo.
